Birdwatching in Serenity
In the tranquil hours of morning and dusk, guests are invited to wander forest trails or relax on our birdwatching trail. Spot native species like the Hummingbird, Woodpecker, Parrot , Toucan, and more and more birds , all accompanied by the soft whisper of the wind through the trees.

Toucans are the flamboyant jewels of the tropical rainforest, instantly recognized by their oversized, rainbow‑hued bills—often as long as one‑third of their body length. Native to the forest canopies of Central and South America, they thrive mainly on ripe fruit but will also snap up insects, tree frogs, and even other birds’ eggs.

Parrots are among the most charismatic birds of tropical and subtropical regions, distinguished by their vivid plumage, strong curved beaks, and zygodactyl (two‑forward, two‑back) feet built for grasping. Renowned mimics, they can learn and reproduce human speech as well as a variety of environmental sounds.

Baudo Guan
Medium-sized turkeylike bird restricted to very wet rainforest in lowlands and foothills of western Colombia and northwestern Ecuador. It is dark brown with white streaks on the underparts and a red dewlap. Similar to the more common Crested Guan, but is smaller, browner (lacking chestnut on the belly and tail), and shows little or no crest.
